Ethan Lares-Salinas

Ethan Lares-Salinas, originally from the Coachella Valley, moved to Northern California to pursue higher education at the University of California, Davis, where he earned a B.A. in political science with a minor in history. Prior to UC Davis, he attended College of the Desert, obtaining an associate degree in political science.

Ethan’s professional journey began as a Finance Coordinator for the California Democratic Party during the 2022 election cycle. He later transitioned to a role as Legislative Assistant for California Advocates, California’s oldest contract advocacy firm. His growing interest in fundraising led him to join the Sacramento County Young Democrats’ (SCYD) Fundraising Committee, where he was appointed Deputy Vice President of Fundraising and later became the Vice President of Fundraising. Ethan recently began the MPA program at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy, where he is expected to graduate in 2026.
